The sweep observation still had a high reflected power from the antenna to the transmitter. ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- 1) Observation of rippled boundary in the cusp PI: S. Taguchi Pulse code: folke AZ: 135 deg or 315 deg (This depends on location of the cusp) EL: 30-60 deg (a sweep mode) 1 cycle: 2*46-sec (antenna speed: 0.65 deg/sec) Requirements: cusp auroral activity and clear sky in Longyearbyen because we run optical instruments at KHO simultaneously. ----------------------------------------------- 2) Reimei satellite - ESR coordinated observations of molecular ion upflows PI: T. Sakanoi Pulse code: folke AZ: 150 deg EL: 30-150 deg (a wide sweep mode) 1 cycle: 2*192-sec (antenna speed: 0.63 deg/sec) Requirements: Only high geomagnetic activity (hopefully Kp >= 4), note that clear sky is not required. Reimei satellite will measure hight profiles of N2+ emission. ----------------------------------------------- 07:00 UT poweron 07:00 UT pointdir 135 60 07:02 UT run /kst/exp/ni/folke/folke fm sweepELnarrow48 NI 07:02 UT run /kst/exp/ni/folke/folke fm sweepELnarrow48n NI 07:00 UT poweron 07:00 UT pointdir 150 150 07:02 UT run /kst/exp/ni/folke/folke fm sweepEL192 NI
